North Bronx Section Committees
Bethune Height Recognition Program:
Is a National fundraiser for our headquarters located at 633 Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington D.C the funds are raised by an annual luncheon and also achieving @ $300 with raffle tickets per person and life memberships at $1000 and legacy life at $1500. There is a team which consists of a raffle, journal and reservation coordinators.

Constitution and By-laws:
Responsible for reviewing, maintaining, and updating the organization's constitution and by-laws to be aligned with the National office. To ensure the by-laws remain relevant and in alignment with the goals and legal obligation of the organization.

Educational Committee:
The education committee partners up with different schools in District 11 to help promote literacy and mentoring opportunities, also support educational initiatives, and community conversations
on behalf of the students and faculty.

Finance Committee:
Manage the financial operations of the organization including budgeting, section budget, financial planning and reporting. This committee is for the financial team ONLY.

Fundraising Committee:
Plans and executes fundraising events to support the organization's mission, programs, luncheon. The committee is to secure donations, sponsorships, and donations.

Health and Wellness:
Promotes health and wellness initiatives, providing resources at monthly meetings, workshops, and programs to enhance the physical and mental well being of the community. The health community will organize health fairs, fitness programs and educational seminars on nutrition and mental health.

Luncheon Committee:
Plans and coordinates the organization's annual major fundraiser luncheon. This committee selects a venue, honorees, MC, guest speakers, journal ads, giveaways, entertainment, and other special effects.

Membership Committee:
This committee seeks potential members that may have an interest in the organization at events, word of mouth, social media, and pamphlets. In addition the committee continues to engage with current members to ensure community activities and initiatives are being met.

Program Committee:
Develops, organizes, and oversees the various programs, events, and workshops that the organization sees a need for in the community.

Social Justice:
NCNW has a four core system that we advocate for which is education, voters rights, health and social justice. The committee works to raise awareness and lead initiatives that address disparities in the community.

Sunshine and Hospitality:
Provides support and encouragement to members by recognizing special occasions, offering condolences to homebound members attending funeral resources for our elders, transportation if needed, delivering meals, companionship. The committee promotes a sense of warmth, comfort and a listening ear if is needed.

Publicity and Newsletter Committee:
This is a newly added committee we are seeking members that may be interested in managing the organization's communication. This includes creating newsletters, managing social media and ensuring the community is informed about upcoming and past events.
